ROLL THE DICE. On Flash Fiction Fridays, we use simple prompts to inspire several short bursts of timed writing — typically 10 minutes each. During that time, you can write whatever you like: flash fiction, a scene for a short story, a dialogue, a poem, or a passage of your memoir. When the time is up, you can share your results. You can also indicate whether you’d like feedback. Our focus is on support, inspiration, advice, and encouragement for writers who would like to start (and finish) longer works over time.
THIS FRIDAY, we’ll use storytelling dice for creative inspiration.

SELF-PUBLISHING SUNDAYS focus on self-publishing, with discussions and real-world examples of the skills and technology it takes to see your work in print. We also take time to put theory into practice, with handouts and worksheets that will help you build your self-publishing toolkit.
COST: $5.
THIS SUNDAY’S AGENDA
Book Blurbs: The Art of Fishing for Compliments. You’ve seen them on book covers, Amazon reviews, and embedded in the front and back pages of today’s best sellers. But where can you get words of praise for your own work? How do you ask for blurbs? Who do you ask? More importantly, what should you do when you get them?
SPECIAL BONUS: New attendees get a free copy of the “Flash Fiction” booklet by organizer Corrine Kenner. (While supplies last.)

SPECIAL BONUS: New members of the Creative Guidance Meetup get a free copy of the “Flash Fiction” booklet by organizer Corrine Kenner. (While supplies last.)
