BARD CARDS
On Flash Fiction Fridays, we use simple prompts to inspire several short bursts of timed writing — typically 10 minutes each. During that time, you can write whatever you like: flash fiction, a scene for a short story, a dialogue, a poem, or a passage of your memoir. When the time is up, you can share your results. You can also indicate whether you’d like feedback. Our focus is on support, inspiration, advice, and encouragement for writers who would like to start (and finish) longer works over time.
THIS FRIDAY, we’ll use illustrated Shakespearean cards for creative inspiration. Let the bard’s timeless characters and dramatic settings take you into a scene or story of your own.
