THIS FRIDAY’S TOPIC: Stories About Songs
On Flash Fiction Fridays, we use simple prompts to inspire several short bursts of timed writing — typically 10 minutes each. During that time, you can write whatever you like: flash fiction, a scene for a short story, a dialogue, a poem, or a passage of your memoir. When the time is up, you can share your results. You can also indicate whether you’d like feedback. Our focus is on support, inspiration, advice, and encouragement for writers who would like to start (and finish) longer works over time.
THIS FRIDAY, we’ll use Billboard’s list of Top 100 songs for creative inspiration. Let the songs take you back in time, or carry you into a scene or story. Click here for a sneak peek at the list.
